There’s a lot of blogs out there today, and social media is crapping all over them by forcing publishers into a small number of increasingly fragmented walled gardens. 

I’ve been online for many years, and never considered myself a “content creator”. I enjoy writing, but not playing the audience game or trying to edit myself for algorithms. 

So here’s Tall Cockatoo Club: a look into the things that I find interesting. I’ve got an interest in not-quite-cutting-edge tech, slow trail running, sensible-speed mountain biking, home electrification, and watching native birds steal the produce off our fruit trees.
